BILLY AND LINDA'S HOME PAGE

This site is to introduce you to our family and our interests.
Billy - Main hobby is motorcycling. Do some modifications and repairs in my shop. Pictures of my garage/shop in the Photo section. Recently retired from driving Semi Truck in Dodge City, Kansas. Lindas' hobby includes mainly doll making. She makes all kinds of soft dolls and is an accomplished seamstress. All fabrication is from scratch and appears to be quite popular at the craft shows in which she participates. She doesn't do her dolls as anything but a hobby and has a difficult time finding the time to spend on this endeavor as she works quite long hours at her main employment as an IBM AS400 Administrator. She also works part time for another company as an operator in their IT dept. Another hobby she has is dealing with sticker and photo albums. "Whew". Quite a busy Lady.

Linda also enjoys motorcycling. She was introduced to this sport about 10 years ago and rides when ever time and weather permits.

She also raised two children, Steve and Stacey. Steve has retired from the Navy and is working in a civilian job in Oregon or Washington state, not quite sure at what.
Stacey is employed as an administrative assistant for a city economic development organization and attends school working for her bachelors degree.

Billy has 5 grown children. Bill, the eldest, works in IT in No. Carolina, Roger manages an oilfield supply house. Kelly Ann works clerical at a hospital. Tracy is a housewife and her family has moved back to Ellinwood out in the country. Patty is a perennial student and teacher in the local school system.

This site originated on July, 17, 2001 and updated last on May 2,2002
A recent additon to our property includes a building specifically for Lindas doll making. It is a three room and bath on a steel skid, and set on concrete runners. It is 14' x 32'. Pictures are in the photo section. Didn't take very long for her to get moved in. Our house was getting very crowded with supplies, work areas and equipment.
Roger and his friend Jody Smith have been building bike lifts in their spare time. It's turned into quite a hobby. The lifts are the table style built from plans from the AFABonline.com website. You can actually ride the bike up on the lift and tie it down so it doesn't fall over and raise the whole thing about 30 inchs high.

Roger got a little fancy with his. He painted it orange and black (Harley-Davidson colors) and put a Harley logo in the center of the top. Looks pretty sharp. It was the second one they built.

The first one built they put a four foot wide top on it so as to accomodate wider vehicles like motor trikes and riding mowers. They modified the original plans to include a wider wheel chock and double locks. The double locks are for safety because their Harleys cost in the vicinity of ,000 each.
Check out the pictures of the lift in the photo section.
